the Zoo

Saturday was a lot of fun for us!  We met Keith's family at the zoo for the afternoon, and then went out for supper after.    Rowan had a ton of fun seeing all the animals.  On the way home, he zonked out with his 'drum sticks' (straws) in his hands!!  Here's a slideshow of our fun at the zoo.

I also had to do something this morning that I didn't look forward to doing... I took my wedding rings off til this little munchkin is born.  I've been swelling quite a bit lately, and I don't think I will be able to get them off again if I put them back on!  So, farewell for now...

Aren't days at the zoo sooo fun! Especially when with little ones watching their faces light up looking at all the animals. Sounds like a really fun day. I can't wait to take Jacob....hmm, maybe this weekend if it doesn't rain.

Love your wedding rings. I know what you mean, my rings had to be re-sized larger since I got married and had Jacob, hopefully some day I can get them re-sized smaller one day lol.

We took Riker and Trinity to the zoo last year for Riker's birthday. I was amazed at how nice it was just to wander around and explain things to them and enjoy the zoo through their eyes. We brought a picnic and took advantage of the large greenspace there too, hey there's an idea for our families if we ever get together in the city!
Farewell beautiful rings, I hope we see you again soon!

Hey I was at the zoo on Momday with the family. I haven't been to the zoo in like years so i was a little disappointed how it changed. I remember seeing more snakes there instead of one and if it weren't for the bears and the monkeys it would've been a little boring. I didn't like the way everything was set up. You walk quite a distance to see 2 animals then walk more distance to see I animal and so on. I remember the zoo being more lively back then and not to mention it was free admission. Nothing is for nothing these days anymore. But I still had a great time with the family. Was just surprised [and disappointed] with the vacancy of some species.

It's me again! Just thought I'd reply to your comment here instead of on my blog! :) Yes, we are coming out next weekend. We are planning to drive there on Wednesday night, so I was hoping we could do something sometime on Thursday! I had it all planned out to phone you tonight...but of course Tate took over 1 hr. to fall asleep...so by now it's 10pm your time!!! It's only 9pm here...but I figured you'd probably be sleeping...or close to it by 10, so I'll try again, maybe tomorrow. :)
