A little of this, a little of that!

Okay, first off, I want to encourage you all to sign up for my giveaway!  Remember that it doesn't have to be for you, it can be a gift.  This bracelet is also great for mommy's who bottle feed their babies.  So, don't forget to sign Mr. Linky and post on your blog!!

Lately we've spent a bit of time in the valley.  My aunt & uncle have a cabin there (a very unique one too!) and we often go hiking or just sit around a nice fire.  Keith took some nice pictures there that I want to post.

Here is the 'unique' cabin.  That vibrant white comes from the insulated door panel cutouts that they used!

The view as you drive in to their 'yard' in the valley.

Rowan enjoying his ketchup!

A beautiful view!

We also just had our Sunday School picnic on Sunday.  We had it at Stanley Park (no, not in Vancouver!).  It's so great to sing outside, and to just hang out with our friends and family.  It was a gorgeous day and we all enjoyed every minute of it!

Rowan enjoying the music.

Rowan has been learning how to throw a baseball lately.  He tries really hard to catch the ball in his glove, but I think Keith has to aim really well, and Rowan can catch it if he has his glove in just the right position!  He loves his time outside with Daddy though.

Getting ready to throw!

Caught it!!

Oh yes, and did I mention that the leaves are turning?  Here is Rowan in front of our little tree!

I finally put the curtains up in Bria's room!  They have been finished for weeks already, but I was putting it off because I hate ironing, and we also don't have a curtain rod for Rowans room yet.  His curtains were hanging in her room til now.  The curtains give this pink glow to the room when the light is off.  I'm very happy with how they turned out.  You can't tell much from this picture, but it shows how the room glows!

The pink glow!

The little cutie herself!

Aren't her Robeez cute?  Thanks Mom!

Alright, I have been tring to avoid contests lately, because I know how annoying it can be when you read someone's blog and all it is is contests.  BUT, this one I just HAVE to sign up for!  Drea is giving away a wrap from Hug A Bug Baby!  This is actually her own perosnal wrap ,and not one that was given to her just to give away.  I have a wrap, but it is a stretchy one, and I can see how nice a gauze wrap would be some days.  I would love to have this one, but if I don't win, I guess that's okay too.  :)  I'm sure someone who really needs it will win.  This contest ends tomorrow, so if you want to enter, you'd better do it quick!

I tried your pizza sauce recipe today and I have to say it is absolutely scrumptious. Thank you for sharing the recipe. Do you mind if I post it on our recipe blog?

How was the ladies brunch this morning? I was and am soo disappointed that I missed it. But I was stuck at the emergency room in the early morning hours waiting to get in and be checked out I was in so much pain. The results are ear infection and strep throat. I noticed I was coming down with something the day before already but I still didn't imagine that it would get worse as the night stretched on. I was still counting on making the drive into the city and dropping the children off in Morris since we made plans to stay the weekend at mom's place. But it all had to be cancelled as I'm sick and spent the morning at Boundary trails for a precription. I'm so curious how you guys made out at the brunch and who else was there I'm hoping fro updated on it all. I hope you at least thought of me~

Great pictures!! I see Harvey is standing in front of G & A's cabin (he's very little). I had not seen the cabin yet -- it looks pretty fantastic and original. Sounds like you had a fun time at the SS picnic. Bria's curtains look so elegant -- that pink glow is wild.
