Baby Naturopathics ~ Review & Giveaway!

When I say 'toys' and 'China', what comes to mind. Probably not pretty images of your child happily playing with a Chinese doll! I'm not sure how much you've been hearing about the safety of toys lately, but there has been a lot of information out about the dyes and paints used in toys, especially those coming out of China. Some of the toys on the market are really quite dangerous to our kids health. I've heard that wooden and cloth toys are much safer than the usual plastic ones.

Since it's hard to find these toys in Canada, I've been looking around for a great Canadian retailer of European wooden and cloth toys for a while, and I finally came across a goldmine of great stuff! Baby Naturopathics offers exactly what I've been looking for. They have excellent standards for the safety of the toys that they offer.

For example, this super cute Keptin-Jr Organic Toddels Rattle Ring that they sent for Bria. There are so many things that I love about this toy. It has a very gentle rattle sound, so no harsh noises in the middle of our church service! It also is made of certified organic cotton, and has no dyes at all. The brown colour comes from the cotton itself, so it's totally natural and safe. The fabric on this doll is a soft terry cloth that is great for those tender gums during teething (which is what we've been dealing with lately!).

Bria enjoys chewing on every part of this rattle doll :)

Baby Naturopathics offers so much more than just these cute rattles though! Some of my favorites are the wooden play food and the Kathy Kruse Grabbing Toy Giraffe. I will definitely be buying some of the Haba wooden play food for my little neice, Jillian. It is a German company, and a lot of the toys have German words on them. Since Jillian will be taught German and English, I figured it would be special to have some toys in her mommy's language!

If you are looking for organic clothing, Baby Naturopathics also has their own brand of cute clothing. They have five great earthy colours to choose from.

Of course I could never mention everything that Baby Naturopathics has to offer in a short review, so make sure you head over to their website to see for yourself!

And now for the giveaway! Baby Naturopathics sent me a very cute Zmooz towel doll to give away to one of my lucky readers! It is made in Europe by Keptin-Jr of the Netherlands. This doll, just like Bria's rattle ring, is made of certified organic cotton, with pure wool stuffing in the head. This is a new product that Baby Naturopathics will be adding to their store shortly.

I would love to be entered! We love organic cotton and all natural toys at our house. In fact, my 3 year old goes around the house telling anyone who will listen, "If it's not wooden or fabric, my baby sister can NOT chew on it!"
