The perfect start to December

Last night the ground was bare and brown. This morning, this is what we woke up to!

It's so beautiful, and I think it's the perfect start to December! I thoroughly enjoyed our mild and comfortable November, and honestly wish it would stay like that for the rest of Winter, but I have to accept the fact that I live in Manitoba. There will be snow. There will be cold. And I'm going to have to deal with it. For today, I'm going to enjoy the beauty, and try not to think about the months ahead :)

WOW... what a beautiful sight!!

I love snow, too!!! And wished we could see a little more of it, but it is a tad bit warmer here than Canada... LOL!!!

today was our last warm (57 degrees) day for who knows how long. I'm impressed we haven't had more snow yet...but there seems to be less than when I was young

Wow! I can't believe it...we have less snow than you! haha. :) Usually we get the "big dump" and they were totally forcasting that, but we just have a light covering...the grass is still poking through the snow and everything. Just wait though...now that I said that we'll get a blizzard tonight! haha. :)

I know! It's so pretty seeing the snow on the ground - as long as we don't think of it staying there until May!! lol!

After Christmas the cold weather and snow start to become depressing, but when it first snows it is so beautiful. We don't have snow here yet in Port Colborne. "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas..." :)

Maritime's weather is sooo weird, one minutes it's winter the next it's spring and sometimes all happen in the same day LOL

Gorgeous! We are so glad for our little blanket of snow. It just looks so much more festive over Christmas. Now if we could just get the tree up

It's beautiful! I think snow brings on the Christmas-y feeling for so many people. It's inconvenient, yes, but it really can be pretty. That being said, I really wish it would wait until after we move ;)
